Blue Forty was approached by Puffin Coolers of Bend, Oregon to design and prototype a custom countertop and floor display to show off their unique outdoor inspired drink koozies. After the conceptual design phase of the project, the team arrived on a retro 1950’s fridge inspired geometry with rounded corners and wrapped branding elements. The simple ABS and birch construction allows for an easy assembly, while keeping shipping weights to a minimum. A velcro puffy coat wrap allows for a high-end changeable branding opportunity that allows Puffin to keep things fresh as new product colors and styles emerge.
The design was unveiled at the 2020 International Market Corners Trade show in Atlanta, Georgia. Product displays are now in the hands of a production shop in Eugene, Oregon for on call product fulfillment.
